Pride Moral lesson: Dapat twice a week lang tayo nakain ng balot kasi masyadong mataas ang cholesterol nito.

Um.. @Guest: I don't know if my crappy translation'll help, but I'll try my best..

Panel 1: Oh guys, let's go home. Tambs(the girl), we'll be going ahead. Just wait for a bus to go home.

Panel 3: Tambs: Ha-

Guy: Don't tell me you still can't go home alone. Unbelievable, fine, we'll accompany you.

Panel 4:
Tambs: Oh no, what's wrong with you, I can do it, go, go on ahead.

Guy: Drama queen. We'll be accompanying you but yet you still don't want to. Later, you'll be misguiding the're not going to commute, are you?

Tambs: Eh, I really just prefer walking.

Guy: I rest my case.

Panel 5: Hello Amber? Fetch me from here, I've been walking for five hours. I asked if this is Cavite, they said no, according to them this place was Quezon...Heyyy.

Amber: Oh no, go die there.

And that was that! It had a lot of translation mistakes, but long story short: Her pride got in the way of admitting she can't commute alone and letting her friends accompany her home. After hopelessly walking for five hours, she somehow got to Quezon instead of Cavite(which is very far from each other) and possibly stuck there forever.

If you're curious: the author's note says, "Dapat twice a week lang tayo nakain ng balot kasi masyadong mataas ang cholesterol nito."

"We should only eat balot twice a week because it's cholesterol is very high."

Balot is a fertilized duck embryo that is boiled alive and eaten in the shell commonly sold as streetfood in the Philippines. If you want you can check it out here:

Well, that was lengthy. I hope this translation gives Ivyree's comic humor justice and I hope you learned something new as well! Thank you for reading!(If you'll still able to see this.)
